1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FeedSense (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FeedSense is a private content recommendation app. It allows you to subscribe to content sources — including RSS, Atom, JSON feeds, YouTube channels, and OPML files — and delivers personalized recommendations based on your reading behavior. The App also provides AI-powered content summaries and translation into supported languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, French, and Spanish). Some features, including AI summaries and translation, may require a paid subscription.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • FeedSense offers auto-renewing subscription plans billed through Apple’s App Store.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App’s infrastructure.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
  • Share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
  • Use the App to systematically scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit third-party content.

6. Content & AI-Generated Output

FeedSense aggregates content from third-party sources you choose. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content. You access such content at your own risk.

AI-powered summaries and translations are generated automatically and may contain inaccuracies. They are provided for convenience and should not be relied upon as authoritative or complete representations of the original content.

7. QR Code Sharing

The App allows you to share your source list with others via QR codes. When you generate a QR code, it encodes your selected source URLs and metadata. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any sources included. QR codes are valid for 7 days after creation.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of FeedSense. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent. Content from third-party sources remains the property of its respective owners.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Upon deletion, all your data including sources, preferences, and personal information will be permanently removed from our servers.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service, nor do we warrant the accuracy of any AI-generated content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeedSense shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FeedSense operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email.
